FAQs

Q: I don't own any art supplies. Can I do this?

A: As part of this program you'll receive a full list of supplies that can easily be purchased either online or in your local arts and crafts store. Even better, many of the supplies you'll need are found at home.

Q: When will we get the lessons and pdfs?

A: Everything is immediately available to you.

Q: How long can I access the course materials?

A: You can download and save all the pdfs immediately. The course will be available to you as long as Unfold Classroom exists.

Q: How is the course set up?

A: The course is set up in 17 lessons -- You can access the lessons in any order you choose, but the order I have put them in is intentional. The lessons fall into three overarching themes: Getting Started, Techniques, and The Inner Work of Art Journaling.

Q: Should I do the lessons in order or can I skip around?

A: I suggest following the flow of the course lessons as I've created this flow specifically to help you learn the art journaling process.

Q: How much time should I allot for each lesson?

A: That is completely up to you, as an individual. There are no rules around how much time to spend! That being said, I would allow for a couple hours per technique lesson (not including set up and clean up time) and less for the topic lessons. In general, though, I think an hour or so for art journaling is adequate.

Q: Is there a specific time-frame in which I should do the work?

A: Your time is your own, meaning you will be able to access the information any time that works for you.

Q: What do I need to do to get the most out of the course?

A: My suggestion is to watch the videos, read the lesson pages and prompts, and carve out some dedicated time for journaling.

Q: What if I get stuck in the middle of making a page?

A: Don't fret! It happens...sometimes more than others. Sometimes we just need to step away from our work to be able to move forward.

Q: What if I'm not happy with the course? Can I get a refund?

A: Because of the digital nature of this course there are no refunds.

I recommend you give yourself this gift. It’s one which will keep on giving! Not only did I complete deep work with enlightening discoveries; I also gained many new techniques for my art practice which I continue to use.
